BT's phone and broadband network is evolving

BT, in consultation with the UK telecommunications industry, and with input from Ofcom, isĀ upgrading its phone, broadband and ISDN lines to a next-generation network*

This evolution in communications will not only provide the services all of us enjoy today, but will also enable more people to access exciting new services in the future.

The switched-on website

The switched-on website has been designed to answer all your questions about the new network, regardless of who provides your phone, broadband or ISDN services.

What you need to do

It's important to find out when this is likely to happen and to understand more about how it could affect your home or business.

* If you are connected to a cable service, are a customer of Kingston Communications in East Yorkshire, or do not require a BT line for your phone, broadband or ISDN services, you won't be affected by the rollout of BT's new telecommunications network. In these instances, your current telecommunications arrangements will continue to apply. Mobile services will not be directly affected.
